Back to School
It's crazy that summer is already over and now we are back to school. I thought the summer was much better than i expected to be. Being home, during a pandemic, in the summer when our plans got canceled is hard. I always try to look on the bright side, look for the silver linings, try to make the best of it and surround myself with people who I love. I encourage everyone else to do the same.
I am starting my 5th week of school next week and I am so glad to be back. My school has a hybrid schedule which means I can go very other day. the days that were home, we have online school. You have the option to go fully remote as well. I am so grateful to be back at school. I never thought I would say this, but going to school is a privilege. Don't take it for granted. Throughout the pandemic, I've learned to be thankful for what I have, live in the moment, and never take anything for granted.
In school we wear masks all day long (glow pads have been super helpful to me because my face has been super oily and gets irritated from the mask. Glow pads are super helpful especially now), desks are 6 feet away, go outside for masks breaks, have shields around our desks, and social distance. For those of you who are fully remote, I am so sorry. Everyone is adjusting, we are all in this together. This pandemic is temporary. We will get through this and life will be get back to normal as soon as possible.
I want to say thank you to all the teachers that are putting their lives out there to educate us. We are so thankful for you all and I don't know what we would do without you, thank you so much!
This is the new normal. Wear a mask. Social distance. Be smart. Stay safe. I hope everyone has a great school year! We are all in this together and will get through it together! Stay safe!
